Our lab is part of the Molecular Pathogenesis Program at the Skirball Institute of New York University's School of Medicine.

We are located in labs 10 & 11 on the third floor of the Skirball Building at NYU School of Medicine's main campus in Manhattan's East Side. Our complete mailing address, lab phone and fax numbers are available at this link. Instructions on how to get to the Skirball Institute are available here.

The lab is directed by David Ron and has been in operation since September 1992. Today the lab is focused on the study of cellular adaptations to the stress of malfolded proteins.

Our lab gratefully acknowledges the support of various funding agencies.

This site provides links to lab personnel (both present and past). From here you can browse our collection of plasmids (available free of charge to colleagues worldwide), download publications, or protocols from the lab and read various commentaries. If you are a PhD, or MD/PhD student looking for a rotation, you are welcome to sit in on our lab meeting(s), a schedule of which is posted in the column on the left.
