Skirball Annual Retreat
The 2017 Annual Skirball Retreat will be held on October 10 -12, 2017 at the Cranwell Resort, Spa & Golf Club in Lenox, MA.
The purpose of this Retreat is to bring together Skirball Institute Faculty, Post-Doctoral Fellows and Graduate students within the Developmental Genetics, Molecular Neurobiology, Molecular Pathogenesis and Structural Biology Programs, Cell Biology, plus, invited speakers from throughout the NYU Langone Medical Center to discuss recent advances in research, to discover synergies among research programs and to encourage scientific communication and collaboration.
Please note that the Annual Retreat is limited to members of the Skirball Institute, Cell Biology and invited guests.
Bus transportation by Academy Bus Services, from in front of the Langone Medical Center leaving at 9:00 AM sharp to The Cranwell Resort will be available. Information about departure time, location and bus assignments will be emailed to those taking the bus to The Cranwell Resort. All persons planning to attend must fill out the online Retreat Registration Form starting on June 19th, 2017 and ending July 24th, 2017; registrations will not be accepted or changed after this end date. It is strongly recommended that you have already picked a roommate/s and indicate the person's name upon registration otherwise a roommate/s will be assigned to you. Also, make sure that the person/s you have selected are absolutely attending the Retreat and are also registered. Please note that any cancellations, except for emergencies, after July 24th, 2017 or no-shows at the Retreat will result in the PI's account being charged.
There will be two (2) poster review sessions at the Retreat and awards will be given for the best posters. Those assigned to Session I who will be exhibiting a poster will set up, at the "Barn" on October 10th during the day and way before the formal session begins. Those assigned to Session II will set up, at the "Barn" on October 11th during free time and way before the formal session begins.
Whether or not you plan to present a poster, you must complete the online Poster Registration Form. The deadline for submission of Title etc. to be included in the Poster Registration List to assure that we have the proper amount of Poster Boards is August 18th.
